I could be wrong about someone today — my idea of who they are isn’t accurate any more, and I’m missing out on knowing a wonderful person. So force myself to talk to someone I don’t like very much today. There is no doubt that within ten minutes of talking to them, I will learn that they are a lot cooler than you thought they were. Give them a chance — if I don’t, I’m not only selling them short. I’m selling yourself short.
